Creative Loafing is hosting the Tampa Bay Burger Week October 15-25, all featured burgers are $5. Need I say more?!
If you have been following my blog you know I am a foodie who loves to score a good deal on good food. So when Creative Loafing announced this promotion, I was elated and could not wait. This would be the perfect opportunity for me to indulge the inner fat girl while sampling the burgers at restaurants all over the bay without busting my budget. Over 25 restaurants are participating in Burger Week and there are restaurants participating throughout the Tampa Bay area. Therefore, regardless of which neighborhood you claim as your own, you will be able to find a restaurant nearby to grab a $5 burger and participate in the festivities. They even have a few restaurants featuring meat free burgers so the vegetarians aren’t left out. This deal is a win-win situation for everyone!
For details about which restaurants are participating along with details on their featured $5 burger, visit Creative Loafing’s Tamp Bay Burger Week website here.
It is my plan to sample at least 5-7 burgers this week. I will feature the pictures on Instagram so if you are not already following me there, you should. At the end of the week I will recap my foodie adventures during Tampa Bay Burger Week. Stay tuned as I will share which ones I would actually return and pay full price to have again.
Moms, this is perfect for family night. It is a low cost way to give yourself a break and treat the family to a night out. Singles, gather the friends and make a night of it. College co-eds, save a few pennies on your burger so you have more money for dessert … cause that’s what you’re spending your money on when you are at the bar right (wink, wink). And couples, this is a great date night idea. Men this gives you some extra coins to buy her some flowers or a just because gift like chocolates or a bottle of her favorite wine. When I said Burger Week is perfect for everyone I truly meant it. You simply cannot beat $5 burgers at some of Tampa’s finest restaurants especially when you can’t even get a burger at a fast food joint for that price much these days.
Comment below with which burger you are excited to try this week.
