Get On The List: 12 Email Lists to Subscribe to Today

Top 12 Lists To Subscribe to Today

So my friends always ask me how did you know about that deal? Well it’s simple because I AM A VIP! No although I am pretty special, I do not have a private hotline which makes me privy to insider information about deals and specials. I am in the know because I am on the list. What list you ask? The list, of course!

Well the list is actually not one list but several. Have you ever been asked to sign up for a store or restaurant’s loyalty club? All the time, I know.  Well I do. I like being in the know with the places I frequent and patronize regularly.

Within the last six months being on the list has garnered me a free cookie and shake at PDQ, free Bloomin’ Onion at Outback, $20 off at Roy’s, free cheeseburgers for National Cheeseburger day at Ruby Tuesday and Burger 21, a free chicken dinner at Pollo Tropical, a free dozen doughnuts at Krispy Kreme, a free bagel at Panera, a free cheese fondue at Melting Pot, a free chicken salad for Greek Independence Day at Little Greek … should I continue or do you get my point?!

I eat out a lot but I also score a lot of deals because I am on the list(s). To address the elephant in the room – all of the emails you will receive as a result. Yes the abundance of emails can be overwhelming in your inbox with some companies sending emails as much as 2x each week.  Let me share my little secret: I have a separate email account just for my loyalty rewards club emails and savings newsletters. I can glance at this account once daily just to see if there are any hot deals or useful information without bombarding my personal account.

Here is a list of some of my favorite insider subscriptions:

  1.       Redbox
  2.       Bonefish Grill
  3.       BJ’s Brewhouse
  4.       Panera Bread
  5.       Brio/Bravo
  6.       TGI Fridays
  7.       Smokey Bones
  8.       Outback Steakhouse
  9.       PDQ
  10.       Godiva
  11.       Bath & Body Works
  12.       Starbucks

Think about the places you frequent, most of them probably have a loyalty club or rewards program. Set up your deals email and start signing up. (The first of which should be this blog! hint, hint) Before long you will be in the know too and reaping the benefits with discounts and freebies just like me.

I’m on 6 out of 12, and I’d have to say that Red Box and BBW are COMMITTED to keeping my coins. They’re consistently taking care of their loyal customers. Even though I’m not stateside anymore I still get the free rental email codes from Redbox at least once a month. And BBW continues to slide me the $10 off $30 coupon ijust in time for the semi annual sales! I definitely miss them!

I really don’t take advantage of these subscription lists like I should! I hate getting a bunch of emails in my inbox but a deal is a deal and I need to start signing up for these things.

Gosh, I am signed up to so many emails that I delete half of them. My faves are:

The Children’s Place and Kohl’s are my favorite. There are ALWAYS coupons in your email, online and through their loyalty programs. I too have a separate email for all my programs.

I am on a few of these email list but I had to unsubscribe to so many because they can get spammy. I love TGIFs they stay giving 20% off your order!

I know I’m probably not signed for hardly any! I need to get on it because these are things I can use to provide my readers with content.

I am steadily unsubscribing from companies’ emails. LOL. But I do love a good deal. I will have to consider some of these.

Starbucks has me hook, line and sinker. I tried to resist them but they got me! I do love a good deal.

I love me a good loyalty club card deal! I actually created an e-mail address specifically to collect the info from all the lists I was subscribing to. I am that person that pulls up my lists while I’m in the store to see what deals are going on (especially in AC Moore, Bed Bath and Beyond and New York and Company).
