Busch Gardens Food & Wine Festival 2017

The 2nd Annual Food & Wine Festival at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay has arrived. Last year I was thrilled when Busch Gardens announced its inception. As a season pass holder, I was thrilled to have another great reason to visit the park. Well, that and I am a big time foodie.

I ended up going to the Food & Wine Festival at Busch Gardens last year on a whim. It was a first date and we had a blast. As an attendee at the Food & Wine Festival, you can not only enjoy the normal attractions at the park but you also get to enjoy the delicious food and drink being featured along with the nightly concerts.  We took full advantage of all the park had to offer and we stayed for the entire day. Needless to say, this event provided great memories for me and I could not wait for this year.

I was fortunate to be invited as a guest of Busch Gardens courtesy of the Tampa Bay Bloggers to the VIP Tasting Event for this year’s Food & Wine Festival.

We did not sample all of the featured items on the Food & Wine Menu, as there are more than 40 food items, 65 fine wines, and 70 craft brews.  See pictures of the food and drink we sampled below.

For your tasting experience, you can purchase a passport which includes 5, 8 or 12 punches. If you are a foodie like me who will want to taste several of the menu items, I suggest the 12 punch card which is $54.99. I also think this is the best deal if you are enjoying the day with friends or significant other.  At just $4.58 per sample, this is an affordable way to enjoy the tastes of the Food & Wine Festival at Busch Gardens.
